Firewall™FR



Providing a safe environment for employees should be a mandate for all companies, but in many situations it is not always possible. You can now provide one of the industry’s safest secondary protective gear to reduce the risk. Firewall™FR fabric was created to provide workers in the utility, oil, gas and petrochemical industries with a safe, durable and economical safety solution.
Firewall™FR fabric is a blend of 90% cotton and 10% high tenacity nylon that offers comfort and durability while providing industry leading protection from electric arc and flash fire exposures.

Nomex®



Featuring NOMEX® aramid fibers - A trusted source of protection worldwide
Featuring NOMEX® fibers with "built-in" protection from flame and heat. When exposed to flame, the NOMEX® aramid fiber swells and becomes thicker, forming a protective barrier between the heat source and the skin. This protective barrier stays supple until it cools, giving the wearer vital seconds of protection to escape without serious injury. NOMEX®-based protective apparel is worn by fire-fighters, petrochemical workers, military personnel and many other professionals.

    Kermel®/Lenzing

    Featuring Kermel® aramid fibers - Find protection in a new layer of comfort Series K features KERMEL®, Europe's leading meta-aramid fiber designed for protection against heat and flame. Our construction of 99% Kermel® and 1% anti-static fibers produces a fabric suitable for protection in a wide variety of industrial uses. Some of the most popular applications are protective coveralls, station wear for fire fighters, riot police, along with many other military and industrial uses.

    Series KV features KERMEL®-Viscose blends, this fabric is designed to provide unparalleled protection against the hazards associated with electric arcs. The blend is inherently non-flammable and durable, providing long-lasting protection. The fabric will not burn or melt and will maintain its chemical characteristics. KERMEL®-Viscose FR provides protection from heat, flame as well as acids and chemicals. Yarn dying provides superior color and light fastness.

    Introducing CRYON™ - Protection never felt so good.
    We are proud to introduce the latest addition to the IFR family - CRYON™, our flame resistant modacrylic cotton fabric using Protex fibers. CRYON™ combines inherent protection with superior comfort and durability, unsurpassed colorfastness, a wider range of colours including brights and HiViz and a more attractive look and feel at an economical price.

    The superior comfort and natural hand makes CRYON™ ideal for use in many industrial sectors including petrochemical, utilities, forest fire fighters and emergency professionals. CRYON™ has been developed so there is no melting or dripping. This greatly reduces the chance of secondary burns making it an excellent choice for all FR protective clothing applications.
